Garden Regulations

  • The visitors must follow the instructions given by the guards or other authorized personnel. In case of violation of the regulations you may be dismissed from the garden or be prosecuted.
  • Children under 12 are only admitted together with adults.
  • Bicycles and similar vehicles are not allowed in the garden.
  • Prams are only allowed on the main paths.
  • Dogs are not allowed.
  • Paper and other garbage should be put into the garbage cans.
  • Students of botany bringing their students license are allowed outside the paths.
  • Flowers, branches, fruits, etc. must not be picked.
  • Toilets for visitors are situated at the main entrance in Gothersgade and behind the large Palm House.
  • No trespassing or stay on the lawns are allowed except in the annual quarter and in the Rosarium.
  • Information, folders and maps can be obtained at the entrances and in the shop.
  • Professional photography is only allowed upon agreement and according to the garden's regulations.
  • It is not allowed to make fashion photographs in the greenhouses.
